APP OF THE WEEK – IFTTT

Screen Shot 2014-07-10 at 12.46.59 PMIf this then that (IFTTT) is one of the most amazing services and apps out there (yes, I am very biased about it because it is indispensable for my life) where you create connections or recipes between all accounts you have. According to its website, you use Channels  (Facebook, Evernote, Email, Calendar) with Triggers (the “this” of the title – such as “I’m tagged in a photo on Facebook) and Actions (the “that” – which can be “send me a text” or “save it to a dropbox folder”). App of the Week – Swipes

Screen Shot 2014-07-02 at 12.25.29 PMSwipes is a free Mailbox-like app that integrates with Evernote and is a great task management app. The integration with Evernote allows for users to attach Evernote notes to tasks and checkbox items from Evernote can be added as action steps within the Swipes app. To download it for the iPhone for free click HERE. App of the Week – Snapseed

Screen Shot 2014-06-26 at 11.03.11 AMSnapseed is a great and simple app that allows users to do a lot of photo editing from their iPhones, iPads and Android devices. The app is free and it is very simple to use. Some of its features include: easily adjusting your photos with a single tap using Auto Correct; you can tweak your photo to perfection with Tune Image; you can use Selective Adjust to enhance specific objects or areas in your photos; you can experiment with fun & innovative filters like Drama, Vintage, Grunge, and Tilt-Shift; you can add Image Borders for a finishing touch.
