Join Dr. Pope for a fun presentation and conversation about using comic books in the college classroom. He’ll share some stories of how he’s used comics to engage students, spark critical thinking, and encourage critical engagement with texts and new media. Suggestions for particular titles to use depending on your discipline will be provided. Come if you’re curious, want to share your own use of comics, or just want to discuss Batman.
